Day of Judgement

A day will come when God’s wrath will be poured out on every soul for their evil deeds. Lucifer and his fallen angels were judged and cast out of heaven and chained in the bottomless pit of the lake of fire. God’s judgment has fallen on every person that ever lived in the bible for their wrong doing. There is no escaping his wrath, for every secret thing good or bad will be exposed for judgment.

God is a holy and righteous creator and his laws and commandments must be honored. He is no respecter of persons and everyone will be judged according to their works. If we have done an evil deed in this life time and so far we have not been punished for it, we are far from being off the hook and escaping the

repercussions of our actions. God is long suffering and has mercy and forgiveness for our sins, but we are still held accountable for the atonement of our crime. His vengeance may strike at the most inopportune time, and the lesson will be learned through trial and tribulation of our persecution and suffering.

God’s judgment was established in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve sinned in disobedience and were ejected from the garden. Later on Noah and his family were found to be righteous and preserved as God passed judgment on the rest of the world by flooding all life that existed. Each and every one of us will stand before God and give an accounting for our lives. Every moment that God gives us breath is to be answered for with the responsibility of our actions.

If judgment fell on his own Son and the atonement for the sin of the world was inescapable and paid for, what makes anyone think that they are going to get away with anything? That would mean that God manifested himself as Jesus and was crucified for nothing; his spilled blood would have no consequence or value at all.

The Day of Judgment is coming and the wrath of God will be by his choosing. We will stand before the throne of God with pop-eyed amazement and wonder what have we done? We are accountable to the creator of the universe and how dare we even muster a thought of rebellion or disbelief. God’s wrath will come as surely as we are given our next breath… and his judgment will prevail.
