to others and expect nothing in return, their blessing comes with the humility and service of giving. A giving person is storing their riches in heaven, where man can not corrupt, nor do moths and rust entertain.
Genuine love waits patiently with wisdom, watching as folly run its course, knowing that it is a short-lived flame. Genuine love outlasts time and removes the tarnish from ignorance to enlighten the darkness with warmth and understanding. Genuine love recognizes the innocence and frailty of sorrow to offer a band aid of compassion to ease the devastation and pain. Genuine love has everlasting power over temporal lust and wanton delight, where the roots of weakness are made mature in growth with unwavering steadfastness. Genuine love has the strength to be long suffering and kind no matter what the obstacle or challenge is for the moment, knowing that life is fickle and fleeting but that its longevity will outlast all others.
Jesus has genuine love for God, doing the Father’s will and not his own, being in obedience and having reverence for his authority and majesty. Christ subjected himself to the cross and shed his blood for each and every soul because he genuinely loves us beyond compare. |
