A Work in Progress

Like the construction crews that build our roadways, each one of us should be constructing a roadway to heaven. God has drawn the blue prints, giving them to man in the form of the Bible, and we should build our roads as He has designed.

There is not one of us that will have a straight road to God, some will have curves and bends in it. These curves represent our failures to do right by Him but we are still headed in the right direction. The road must be built with consistent materials such as daily prayer, spreading of His kingdom and living right.

Others however will have detours, through a lack of desire, knowledge or

outright defiance. These people will continue to drive aimlessly about on a desert road, just as the Israelites did.

But you—your bodies will fall in this desert. Your children will be shepherds here for forty years, suffering for your unfaithfulness, until the last of your bodies lies in the desert. For forty years—one year for each of the forty days you explored the land—you will suffer for your sins and know what it is like to have me against you.' I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will surely do these things to this whole wicked community, which has banded together against me. They will meet their end in this desert; here they will die." - Numbers 14: 32-35

Repent your sinful ways and make the turn to the road of salvation. Once traveling on this highway, true happiness, internal peace and eternal life will be granted through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
