Perfection and Completion

In the beginning God created everything with perfection and completion and placed His seal upon it with the number seven. Throughout the Bible, the number seven represents His signature of approval. For instance, God created the speed of light to travel at 186,500 miles per second. He formed the earth to be precisely 24,000 miles in circumference. If you take the speed of light which God created by speaking it into being (let there be light), then divide it by the circumference of the earth, it equals exactly 7.77!

God's mark of the Holy Trinity is assigned to the earth for eternity, just as it is to each and every one of us. There are pages and pages of significant references of the number seven throughout the Bible; every one of them has a profound meaning and prophetic context affiliated with it. Everything that exists is by God's choice. It is God's chosen plan. Every thing has a purpose, place, and time for its existence. Even this website and the fact that you are reading it is no accident. The Holy Spirit has led you here at this very precise moment.

The Bible says that on the seventh day God ended his work and rested on the seventh day. God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it. Genesis 2:2,3 After Cain slew his brother Abel, the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon him. Genesis 4:15 Noah's father, Lamech lived to be 777 years old. Genesis 5:31 It was from Lamech's loins that God created a righteous man in Noah and through him chose to save the human race in redemption. God commanded Noah to take every clean beast (thou shall take to thee by sevens) aboard the ark. Fowls also of the air by sevens; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth. Noah was allowed to take the seven members of his family with him. Genesis 7:13 Then God said that in seven days he would make it rain. Genesis 7:2-4 After the flood, Noah sent forth the dove to search for land three times, each for a seven day period before it did not return. Genesis 8:8-12

And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude? And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full. Matthew 15:34-37 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Matthew 18:21-22 Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed. And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise. And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also. In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall they be of them? For the seven had her to wife. And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given to marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. Mark 12:20-25 In Revelation, John sees a vision of Christ and is told to write in a book and send it to the seven churches. John turned to see the voice that spoke with him and saw seven golden candle sticks. He also noted that in Jesus' right hand he had seven stars. Revelation 1:11-12,16 At the throne of God there were seven lamps of fire burning, which are the seven spirits of God. Revelation 4:5 In the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. Revelation 5:1

In the midst of the throne stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Revelation 5:6 And when The Lamb had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God: and to them were given seven trumpets. Revelation 8:1-2 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth forever and ever. And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power: and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. Revelation 15:5-8

The beast that thou sawest was, and is not: and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come: and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seventh, and goeth into perdition. Revelation 17:8-11

There are hundreds of other examples too numerous to list, which can be obtained by referencing them from a Strong's Concordance under the word seven. You will begin to see that God has designed everything with perfection and its ultimate completion before the foundation of the world was spoken into existence. This same God has created your life with perfection and will complete it. Because of his Holiness, that is what he must do. Begin to take notice of the numerous amounts of sevens that occur in your daily life. This sign from God is a demonstration that he is actively participating in the events of your life and guiding you closer to him. Keep a journal, and you will be surprised at the end of a year how much God speaks to you!

On a personal note, I was recently blessed with a granddaughter named Kaylee Madison. She is a gift from God and marked with multiples of seven. She was born on 4/14/03. Her time of birth was 1:47 am. She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces. Her length was 21 inches. She has a loving father and mother and is going to be raised in a Christian home. Praise God for her health. My continuous prayers ask for angels of guidance and council for the child. I have requested a lifetime hedge of protection on her behalf against Satan and his principalities of darkness. I have made a vow to God that I will pour into her what the Lord has poured into me. I will pray with her, lead her in Bible study and thoroughly exhaust the word of God until she will come to know the power of the living WORD deep within her soul. If it is God's will she will preach with fire and passion and bring the Gospel to thousands. Hallelujah!

And now the best is saved for last. After Jesus was crucified and hanging from the cross he spoke seven times before he died!

Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Luke 23:34
Verily I say unto thee, today thou shalt be with me in Paradise. Luke 23:43
My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me? Mark 15:34
Woman, behold thy son! John 19:26
Behold, thy mother! John 19:27
I thirst. John 19:28
It is finished!
John 19:30

Being that the Lord spoke exactly seven times is of great importance. This tells us that the crucifixion was done with completion and with God's will of perfection as was prophesied hundreds of years prior by several Old Testament prophets. Also remember while Jesus was being tortured, beaten unmercifully, and literally ripped apart, he never let out so much as a peep in his own defense. I wonder how many of us would be willing to do that? He took it all for us, and died an excruciating death to atone for our sin. Praise God. To him be the Glory forever. Hallelujah! He is our Lord and Savior. The King of Kings. Hosanna. Jehovah Almighty. Sweet Jesus… bless your precious name.
