Amazing Bible Truth
What you are about to read will astonish and overwhelm you as you think about it. But, you must read it to the finish.
Moses and his people that he led out of Egypt, under the guidance of God, were led into the desert. But what was he going to do with them? They had to be fed. Feeding 2 million people requires a lot of food. According to the Quartermaster General in the Army, it is reported that Moses would need 1500 tons of food.... each day. Do you know that to bring that much food each day, two freight trains, each at least a mile long, would be required!
Remember, once again they were out in the middle of desert, so they would have to have firewood for cooking the food. This would take 4000 tons of wood and a few more freight trains, each a mile long, just for one day. Just think they were forty years in transit. They would also have to have water. Remember, once again they were in the middle of the desert. If they only had enough to drink and wash a few dishes, it would take 7,000,000 gallons each day, and a freight train with tank cars 1400 miles long just to transport the water!
Their clothing and shoes supernaturally never wore out for forty years!
Another thing! They had to get across the Red Sea at night. Now, if they went on a narrow path, double file, the line would be 800 miles long and would require 35 days and nights to get through. So there had to be a space created in the Red Sea, 3 miles wide so they could walk 5000 abreast to cross in one evening. Another problem in doing so, since the water never overflowed its banks, is what would you do with all that water? Once again, God supernaturally stacked it up like tall skyscrapers for miles into the air, while the two million plus people crossed over to the other side.
Another problem. Each time they camped at the end of the day, a campground two-thirds the size of the State of Rhode Island was required.
Do you think Moses figured all this out before leaving Egypt? I do not think so. You see, Moses believed in God, and let God take care of the details.
Taking all this into consideration, do you think God has any problem taking care of your needs? The Lord will guide you and protect you as you go along your way. His love endures. His promises are true. Give him all your cares, because you know he will see you through. So when the road you are traveling on seems difficult at best, just remember.... pray, and let God do the rest
