When Time Began

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Genesis 1:1-5

This is when time began. Somewhere in the spectrum of eternity, God created a space of time to begin and end. The bible says that only he knows when that

moment will be up at the second coming of Christ. He has given each one of us the time in our lives to make a choice whether to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior or reject Him.

If we reject Him, we reject God, our salvation and heaven where ultimately we would spend eternity with God and be part of his family. The alternative is to spend an eternity with Satan in torment and suffering in the fires of hell. It is that simple.

God beckons us each day with a constant reminder as the sun rises, symbolic of His Son rising; and as the sun sets, again symbolic of Jesus’ blood spilled across the sky. These signs were created for us in the very beginning, because God loves us enough to give his creation a choice. That is why we have eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to feel the presence of God when the Holy Ghost quickens our souls. Are you being called? If so, run to the Father, before time runs out on you.
