God's Love Explained

The bible was written for us to have an understanding of the history of creation, and be a guide for living our lives while here on this earth. God created Adam and formed Eve from a rib so that they would be joined together and populate the world with a family, which he would welcome into his kingdom. Today, all of us are part of that family along with billions of people that he has given souls to since the beginning of time. That is why he commands us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves, because we are all his family.

Satan was created as a good angel and chose to become evil. There was a war in heaven and he was cast to this earth, where he has roamed to and fro trying to

destroy God’s children since the beginning.

Since Satan plagued Adam and the thousands of generations to follow with sin from the temptation in the garden, God created a way for the atonement to be paid. He would manifest himself as Jesus Christ in the flesh and allow himself to be crucified for the payment of all sin forever. Our acknowledgement and acceptance of him is our salvation and eternal life from this curse.

Through the Old Testament of Major and Minor Prophets, God spoke to these men and told them of prophecy to be fulfilled of a future Messiah to come. God saw the wickedness in man was great and it grieved him that he had made man. He searched for a righteous man who would give of himself and found it in Noah. God started over with Noah and his family of seven and flooded the earth. Out of the generations of Noah emerged Abraham, Isaac and Jacob whom God struck a covenant with and promised multitudes to come from their loins.

In the New Testament Jesus Christ is born and teaches about the kingdom to come. Before his death, burial, resurrection and ascension, Jesus talked about God’s love for humanity, and then returned to the Father from which he came, where he remains until the appointed hour of his return to gather his saints.

God spoke his love into existence when he created the world for us to be in it. His love is in everything that is before us: from every blade of grass to every sunrise. All he asks in return is that we love him and obey his commandments. Hopefully, this synopsis will inspire you to read about your genealogy in the greatest instruction manual ever written… the bible.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
