In Love With The Lord
A Prayer for Unutterable Love
To stretch my wings at large in freedom, if I could cheat the time, my restless heart, but love is dutiful in thought and deed, through thee communion with that love I seek. To slumber in your arms and hear that sigh, not meant for human ears. To hear you speaking, our love so deep shall not die and cannot be destroyed. In our silent faces can be read an unutterable love. Sound needed none; your sensation, soul and form melt into me. In them will I live, you in my dreams and in ardent thought. Whose love is sure who sees, foresees; who cannot judge amiss and serving truth, my heart more strongly beats.
