In Love With The Lord

A Prayer of Timelessness

There is an obscuring mist in your words of seduction, vagueness of mind. For of one is a torrent rushing with might to sea, carrying the secrets shared by angels, and the other a stream that bends and lingers before reaching the shore. Should he who longs much ask, “Why are you slow and haltering?” It isn’t enough that you hold out your hand, but in clarity avail oneself and embrace and envelop my naked body with the force of your entity. This embodiment with such desire and absolute determination will poor forth the dawning of my heart. We have sailed such distances, you with fortitude, myself with endurance. Is the timeless in you aware of life’s timelessness? If your power to love me is indeed boundless, and it is, then you must remain in readiness – for you are already encompassed within the center of my being and I am undivided. My seasons must encircle your seasons. It must pass from you to me, and me to you… the mirror.
