A  Prayer for The Calling

High is our calling, demanding the service of our minds and hearts, though sensitive, yet, in their weakest part. Heroically fashioned, to infuse faith in the whispers; always to be strenuous for the bright reward, and in the soul will be no decay. Great in glory, and our love destined to endure: white radiant, spotless, and exquisitely pure; through all vicissitudes, through every spring, worthily sustained, I surrender the whole heart to you. Not in vain we labored to secure, and our fortitude held for your loving deeds and perpetual gift of life I have a flame as large spread as land and sea… by works of high spirit and such passion pure.
