In Love With The Lord

A Prayer to Never Forfeit

In our deep vision's intellectual scenes, such earnest longings thus gifted my master with your placid brow. Far happier, fixing hope and aim on our peaceful flame… enter betimes with more than martial fire. Our generous course, aspire and still aspire: upheld by warnings heeded not too late and to one purpose cleave our beings godlike mate. I shall never forfeit, but keep my vow with modest scorn, reject what ever would blind the ethereal eyesight of the winged mind. Then, with a blessing granted from above to every act, word, thought, and look of love… life's book for us will lie unclosed, till age shall with a thankful tear bedrop its latest page. While we sleep, good angels treading the pendent stairs earthward or heavenward, radiant messengers that with a perfect will in one accord of strict obedience serve as one the mighty Lord. Spirit make peace for the innocence so dear, wear, with nothing less than infinite power, at breathless eventide heaven knows and I must tell you: I am bound to your service with unceasing care, and it was spoken that my torturing doubts their end is now known, and your soul, through powers that faith bestows, has won rest. With ease and peace, with bliss that angels share and you are on the pathway leading to the door that will open by the love provoked to bless unbounded, an unconditional love so deep and glory without end. I raise my thoughts; inform my deeds and words, clasping your beauty in my soul's embrace. Your image without end; my heart is yours.
