A Prayer for a Holy Instant

You may wonder how you and I can be at peace, but God is making the path straight for us and no stones to trip on, and no obstacles to bar our way. He has given us such a gift. Ours could be wholly self-limiting and based on love: serene and undisturbed. A little breath of eternity that runs through time like golden light. A holy instant. Here now is everything the perfect faith that we offer each other… the face of Christ. It is so careless to hold us both prisoners of pain when something comes up. You should value every moment, that what is inestimable clearly cannot be evaluated. The gift is ours if only we remove the veil. Through this vision come to see it, and through this understanding recognize it and love it as your own.
